Endeavor Global
Shaun Young
Entrepreneur Services and Global Network
Based in San Francisco, Shaun is responsible for helping Endeavor Entrepreneurs connect and deepen relationships with the best mentors and partners from Endeavor’s global network on the West Coast. He first became involved with Endeavor in March 2009, when he worked as a contributing writer in its Search and Selection (S&S) team. In addition to his time with S&S, Shaun helped launch Endeavor Insight (formerly the Center for High-Impact Entrepreneurship or C-HIE), Endeavor’s research group. Most recently, while on the Entrepreneur Services team in New York, he provided global services to Endeavor Entrepreneurs from Latin America and the Middle East.
Prior to Endeavor, Shaun was a senior editor at the Economist Intelligence Unit, the research arm of The Economist Group. In this role, he managed and produced custom research reports for corporate clients. His journalism, research and project management experience also includes field research on property rights in South Africa, a Leonard Silk Fellowship for investigative journalism at the Center for Public Integrity in Washington D.C., and a Judicial Administration Fellowship in Sacramento, California.
A native northern Californian, Shaun migrated east to study political theory and contemporary poetry at both Tufts University and Oxford University. He played collegiate basketball at both, and was the point guard on the Oxford team that won the British National Championship. Shaun is fueled by words, seafood and travel.
