Endeavor is looking for a talented intern with a passion for writing to assist with our blog (http://www.endeavor.org/blog) and social media efforts this summer. We’re a dynamic, growing organization with a warm and supportive atmosphere, and looking for someone with a strong social conscience and fresh ideas. Spanish proficiency is a plus, but not required.

Minimum time commitment is 15 hours per week. There is also an option to work off-site if preferred. This is an unpaid internship.

Responsibilities may include:

- Rewriting the profiles of the entrepreneurs we support (note: this is one of the main projects): http://www.endeavor.org/entrepreneurs
- Writing and formatting original blog posts, and locating relevant news
- Posting interesting content on Twitter (http://www.twitter.com/endeavor_global) and Facebook (http://www.facebook.com/endeavorglobal)
- Assisting the Communications and Marketing team on special projects as needed, including basic administrative assistance

Qualifications:

- Excellent writer and communicator
- Basic familiarity with social media
- Ability to work independently and being self-motivated
- Belief in our organization’s mission, and interest in social change
- A creative, entrepreneurial personality, with the ability to juggle multiple projects at once while keeping track of details
- A proactive, upbeat working style
