Title: Search & Selection (S&S) Summer Intern

Works with: Global Search & Selection Team, Local Endeavor Staff/Entrepreneurs/Partners as needed

Endeavor selects and supports (http://endeavor.org/model/ourmodel/select) a group of extraordinary emerging-market entrepreneurs who have the potential to transform industries, communities, and even countries. Endeavor screens thousands of entrepreneurs each year and selects those with exceptional, high-impact potential. Through a rigorous, multi-step selection process (12-18 months), candidates pass a series of local and regional interviews before presenting to panelists from our global business network at International Selection Panels held four to five times each year.

We select individuals of all ages, ethnicities and educational backgrounds, delivering a meritocratic message to the developing world: through hard work, creativity and values-driven leadership, individuals living anywhere, from any background, can turn an entrepreneurial idea into a world-class venture.

Description: The Global Search & Selection Team is looking for an intern (ideally suited for a college freshman or sophomore) to assist the team with database management and the publication of a worldwide process report. In addition to learning about a key component of Endeavor’s model, the S&S summer intern can expect to work with international colleagues and to gain basic Excel, Salesforce and Adobe Creative Suite skills.

Qualifications

• Strong interest in and passion for Endeavor’s mission
• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s
• Superior interpersonal, communication and organizational skills
• Exceptionally strong English language writing skills

Compensation

This internship is unpaid, but course credit may be awarded depending on your school’s criteria
