Summer Internship Opportunity:
The Endeavor Insight team is currently looking for MBA summer interns for 2012. Interns will lead key internal strategy and consulting projects at Endeavor’s Global headquarters in New York. These strategy projects will involve primary research, analysis and recommendations, which the interns will then present to Endeavor’s leadership team, including Endeavor’s CEO.
Examples of past projects conducted by MBA interns include:
• Identifying the characteristics among Endeavor Entrepreneurs and their companies that are the best predictors for high growth
• Investigating common characteristics and needs among specific segments of Endeavor Entrepreneurs (e.g. social entrepreneurs, female entrepreneurs)
• Examining the “trickle-down effect” among employees of high-impact entrepreneurial firms in emerging markets via selected surveying of Endeavor company employees
• Mapping connections among 200+ entrepreneurs in Argentina to understand the network effect in entrepreneurial ecosystems
About the Endeavor Insight team:
Endeavor Insight is a recently launched unit within Endeavor’s New York office that seeks to drive the Endeavor’s growth by:
• Demonstrating that High-Impact Entrepreneurship is the most effective tool for long-term economic growth;
• Serving as a thought-leader among high-impact entrepreneurs, VCs, other organizations, etc.;
• Influencing public policy in ways that improve conditions for High-Impact Entrepreneurs; and,
• Proving Endeavor’s impact using metrics
The Endeavor Insight team includes former consultants from Bain, BCG and Dalberg. The team frequently interacts with the rest of the Endeavor NY team, which includes individuals with for-profit experience at Goldman Sachs, The Economist Intelligence Unit, Google and Bloomberg, and non-profit experience with Ashoka, TechnoServe and Acumen Fund.
