In a rare case of a successful management buyout in Mexico, Guillermo took a business ridden with accounting irregularities and a broken ISP model and reoriented it as a Management Risk Service Provider. Based in Mexico City, Mexis integrates managed services in network infrastructure, security and applications, with his concept of Security 360°. Today, Mexis is a leader in the industry and operates under its own proprietary technology, Mexis Protect System. Mexis assures its clients the best ROI in technology, optimization of business processes, and an immediate response to critical incidents.

Endeavor and Mexis

Guillermo maintains an active relationship with Endeavor, adept at using Endeavor’s mentoring services — specifically for human resources. With Endeavor’s support, he also raised funding. Additionally, he has benefited from mentorship with a Global Board member who helped with due diligence, and participated in projects related to internal communications and developing a sales plan. Along with the global eMBA program and Ernst & Young Fellows program, he participated in various Entrepreneur Summits, workshops, and an Immersion Tour.

Guillermo has helped Endeavor spearhead a new program called “10 Times More,” designed to help businesses grow ten times larger through the guidance of an Endeavor board member. In addition to helping Endeavor Mexico with its website and email, Guillermo has also introduced the organization to various high-level executives who have become VentureCorps mentors.
