Founded in 2008, Axeso5 publishes massively multiplayer online games for the Latin American market. Today it boasts one of the largest online game communities in the region. Axeso5’s games are free-to-play and users have the option of purchasing in-game virtual goods. Facing limited online payment options, Cristian developed a network of over one hundred thousand points of sale, including more than five thousand internet cafes, where users can purchase virtual cash in exchange for local currency. Having overcome the region’s infrastructure challenges, Axeso5 is quickly scaling to new geographies and platforms.
